Do you guys think aunt birtie is real, because in the book they said she wasn't real? Maybe the phrase "aunt birdie" is apart of the code, just like "it is a great day for fishing".

Earlier I said that there was no phones or they were a lot of money. Well apparently to call uncle Henrik you have to have a phone but still peter didn't have a cell phone so anyway they couldn't communicate
Where do you guys think the Rosens are? Where do you think Annemarie hid the necklace? Do you think anyone will find it? I think that the Nazis are going to come to Uncle Henrik's house and try to see Ellen but I think that Great Aunt Birte had died was another code and the kids were going to hide in the casket.
Sorry I haven't been here for a while but when aunt Birte 'died' and no one talked I remember when my grandmother died and we talked about good things to remember about her to remember what she did for us and in the book they really didn't have anything to talk about because there was no Aunt-Birte.
Today when Mr. Staley said, "that there was a mouse in the box" he made everyone believe that there was one in it. Many wanted to see it. The point was the courage for wanting to see something dead. I relate it to my mom, and getting me on a roller coaster. If I was aware on the ride, I would not want to go on it. CS20, you made a point about where the necklace that AnneMarie hid. I think that the necklace may be hidden in her clothes closet or her pillow case because she did not have a lot of time to hide it when the Germans left.
I think that in sweden they will live there and peter druged the baby beacause it might make noise so does that mean soldiers might be in sweden what if there is. I also yhink that he should take them somewhere else beacause soldiers will get supcious and check in sweden for the jewish. So why vtake them to the store and the soulja is still there if they are in sweden. someone answer please
